Coming to Grips (2018)

This piece is all about my hands, my body, the aging process, and life – Coming to grips with the irony that as I reach the point in my life when I have the time and opportunity (through retirement) to use my hands creatively, my hands are also being weakened and limited (through aging) by osteoarthritis.

Materials: Copper, enamel, decals, silkscreen, silver foil.
